  • Fred, Island Bay

I can't seem to find the details on this. It all sounds very nice and fluffy, but where are the pictures? What site are we talking about? Others have mentioned this needs to be done asap, but I don't see the urgency. Buses seem to get around this area just fine. A bit longer at peak hour, but it's only minutes - and I live in the Southern suburbs and commute by bus.

  • Sam, Island Bay

This is a pretty good idea cos it would be good to have more distributed CBD's but it would be a NIGHTMARE commute for anyone who doesn't live in a southern suburb

  • Great site. A block from memorial park, the city and the hospital.

  • Andrew, Newtown

Supportive so long as no heritage is lost. The historic character of Newtown needs to be preserved - already too much has been lost to re-development.

  • Richard, Island Bay

This is a classic example of the public's money being put into the private purse.

  • Tom, Newtown

Please do this as quickly as possible. Adelaide Road is hideous right now - very un-Wellington. Start with cycleways. Remove the ugly box-industrial buildings. Adelaide Road would be great with some green space.
